**OBSIDIAN STOCK PHOTO AGENCY NOW REPRESENTING ALL OF OREGON**

BEND, OREGON - Obsidian Stock LLC, a Bend-based photo stock agency, is announcing a geographic broadening of focus for its growing business. Originally comprised of Central Oregon-specific images only, the agency is now opening its library to works covering the entire State of Oregon.

"Obsidian Stock is responding to an increased amount of customer requests for images from all over the State," co-owner and CTO Lance Hardy explains. "It has always been our goal to showcase our beautiful Pacific Northwest State as a whole. We're simply getting there faster than we originally anticipated."

Company CEO and photo editor Simone Paddock has been pleased with the overwhelming interest and participation by Obsidian Stock's ever-growing stable of contributing photographers. "Since we started accepting submissions in Spring of 2006, a steady stream of supremely gifted photographers - from internationally-renowned professionals like Christian Heeb, to young unknown talents like Matthew Maloney - have submitted their images to us for consideration. We were impressed early on with the quantity and quality of their state-wide portfolios - and it was difficult not to jump the gun at that time and immediately broaden our focus. We are excited now to finally be able to include these images into our library, and are looking forward to submissions from photographers from other parts of the State."

OBSIDIAN STOCK UPDATES WEBSITE WITH NEW DESIGN AND FUNCTIONALITY

To prepare for our inclusion of the entire State of Oregon in our stock photo library, Obsidian Stock has undergone and update to design and function to improve the user experience while utilizing our site for all your Oregon stock photo needs. We recognize as our library grows, a more consistent method for locating relevant photos needs to be employed by the user. To that end, we are emphasing the usefulness of our advanced search feature to aid in locating the photos you need.

The Central Oregon arts and entertainment publication, 'Cascade Arts & Entertainment', published an article on Obsidian Stock in its August 2006 issue.
